Canticles of the Sheep is an intensively dark drama of cursed human beings who come to grips with their pasts, delusions and fated choices. Set amid a sinister backdrop of the New York Burroughs, it is a story of the darkest aspects of human nature through the most unusual circumstances, where fates are entwined and both redemptions and downfalls are the outcomes. New York City: Gabriel Gibson is a subject of restless hallucinations that have rendered him insane, constant visits from incomprehensible aspects that will lead him to a journey of discovery, revelation, past days and the darkest parts of human nature. Brooklyn: Vince Karlson is entrapped behind prison bars due to a terrible crime. He is living with a traumatizing childhood incident that had ignited a chain of reactions, which, in turn, sets his life and the life of others in motion. Manhattan: Jonny Heartlowe is a fierce artist, who has depicted almost every significant part of his life in his paintings. After the unexpected death of his wife, he began living in isolation and desperation. As set pieces draw closer, and answers of the past unravel, Jonny becomes haunted and marked by an ungodly curse that will forever shake the very foundations of many lives and alter the course of history as they know it. As the ideologies of demons and angels collide, and the speculated mystery of somebody watching over us is revealed, the lives of three men and many others are entwined and joined in a brutal battle of human nature, forgiveness, cold-blooded intentions and vendetta...until their canticles are sung.
