Act out the story of Little Red Riding Hood, a young girl in a red cloak who goes to the woods to visit her grandma. She meets a wolf along the way and tells him where she's going. When she gets to Grandma's house, Grandma doesn't look like she usually looks. It's the wolf! The six roles in this Spanish-translated script match different reading levels, enabling teachers to use differentiation and English language learner strategies in their instruction. These strategies allow all students to engage in the same activity, regardless of their current reading level. All students can feel successful and can gain confidence in their reading fluency. Students can also practice reading aloud, interacting cooperatively, and using expressive voices and gestures while performing the story together. An accompanying poem and song give readers additional resources to practice fluency in an engaging way. This dynamic script is the perfect tool for a classroom or varied readers!

About the author (2008)

Dona does not know which is more fun-learning about the world through science, or writing books for children that tell all about it. She is glad she does not have to decide and can do both!
