About the author (2007)

Master stargazing instructor and author Mike Lynch has led his popular community stargazing classes for over 30 years and has instructed thousands of would-be backyard astronomers (and maybe a few would-be professional astronomers)! He also writes a weekly astronomy column for the ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS and numerous other newspapers. In his day job, Mike is a broadcast meteorologist for WCCO Radio. He lives in Eagan, Minnesota.
