About the author (1996)

Author and local historian Scott Thompson is the director of the Dublin-Laurens Museum and a weekly history columnist for the Courier Herald. In this companion volume to Dublin: The Emerald City, Thompson pays tribute to the hard-working, spirited people of Laurens County.
