About the author (2004)

Kasser earned a doctorate in education and spent twenty years teaching English as a Second Language before turning to religious studies in mid-life. She attended Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and received an M.A. in Jewish Studies from Gratz College. She currently works as a geriatric chaplain for the Board of Rabbis of Philadelphia.
