About the author (1994)

Brosnahan was born and raised in Pennsylvania, went to college in Boston, then set out on the road. He taught English in a Mexico City school.

Rachowiecki was born near London and became an avid traveler while a teenager. He works part time in Peru and Ecuador as a leader for Wilderness Travel.
