""The 7 Secrets Of Skiing," author, Chalky White, maintains that few skiers have a clear understanding of how to, consistently, work body and equipment as one efficient unit - one that will stand the testing rigours of advanced skiing.Chalky upholds that this situation, can be easily changed. How? Through, consistently, developing technique, in an ordered, systematic way. This book offers skiers just that; a functional way of developing dominance over mind, body and equipment. What's the premise of "The 7 Secrets" system's information found in the book? Skiers who develop a rock-like athletic stance can develop true balance - BALANCE IS POWER - powerful balance enables any skier to make basic, forceful turns; turns the vast majority dreams about, but rarely achieves. From that base, a skier can 'kick' the gateway to advanced/all terrain skiing wide open - A bonus? Exhilaration tends to replace the great inhibitor - Fear! The book, that is the "The 7 Secrets Of Skiing," and its system is powerful; any skier with a strong work ethic, will develop from its information. Chalky White's "The 7 Secrets Of Skiing" back-cover offers contact, website and blog information - Balance is Power!"

About the author (2011)

People lucky enough to start skiing at a very young age, don't always find it easy to teach people to ski. It is difficult for them, because they have few memories of going through that same process. Discovering skiing in his late twenties, Chalky White is coming from a different place. For years he struggled with the techniques required for him to become a fully certified ski instructor. Specialising in coaching adults, that adversity proved to be invaluable. Why? Because he developed strong empathy for those developing their skiing at an age when the body no longer assimilates new movements quite as quickly as before. The hallmark of Chalky's success is in his ability help skiers, often rapidly, to turn emotions of trepidation into exhilaration in almost any skiing circumstance. Chalky White has been a ski teacher since 1978. Still his greatest professional passion, especially designed for intermediate and advanced skiers in the European Alps, he very successfully operated intensive clinics. 1994, saw him shift his talents to the United States - Chalky remains a long time member of the, esteemed, Vail and Beaver Creek Ski School in Colorado. Accolades of Chalky's abilities are high; clients consistently write statements similar to, "Chalky is one of the world's best.... "The system he's developed is powerful.... "We need more instructors like him.... and, "His passion for skiing is Chalky's inherent trademark.
