About the author (1994)

Soskice, graduate of the Royal College of Music, was the youngest sibling of Ford Madox Ford, niece of both painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti and poet Christina Rossetti and granddaughter of Ford Madox Brown. She is remembered for her remarkable translations of Nikolai Nekrasov and Vikenti Veresaev.
