About the author (2014)

Born in Chicago, Illinois, the author, now a retired business executive, lived in Chicago for over 30 years. Growing up in Chicago, his family, experiences and the people he knew helped to shape him as a person. They instilled in him that often referred to "Midwestern" ethic for work and honesty that served him well through life. The author and his wife currently reside in Santa Barbara, California.
