Child of the Dawn is the touching story of a young boy, Hakim, who embarks upon a quest for power and wealth, thinking these will bring him the happiness he seeks. Life, however, has a greater gift for him, and he is led to contemplate the nature of his desire and the true meaning of power as he struggles toward the dawn of understanding. As we follow Hakim's search for the secrets of the "wise one", we are led through the inner landscape of our own hearts into a deeper understanding of the spiritual laws that govern life and lead us to the fulfillment of our dreams.
