About the author (1993)

LARRY SWARTZ has been teaching children and teachers as a classroom teacher, a language arts resource teacher and drama consultant for more than fifteen years. A drama instructor at the Faculty of Education, University of Toronto, and for Young Peoples Theatre, he also shares his enthusiasm for language, drama and literature as a speaker at conferences throughout the country. Larry is co-author of a major Language Arts reading series as well as Choosing Childrens Books, a useful guide to help teachers, librarians, and parents select literature for children of all ages.
