I couldn't rate it zero, so I gave it a "1".
Picture believing what you've read in the description of the book and then having none of it match up with the reality.
This book was poorly written, poorly represented in the description, and a nightmare to navigate through. I couldn't imagine that anyone would be able to read, understand, or speak more or better Thai after wasting their money on this book.
PASS on this lame attempt to grab your money and run. I wish I had.

About the author (2005)

John Moore is a former Director of the Diplomatic Service Language Centre at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, now resident in Thailand.  He was the main author of the 1st edition and also co-authored Colloquial Vietnamese.

He has lost contact with his 1st edition co-author, Saowalak Rodchue (whom we have had no success in tracking down), so will be preparing the 2nd edition alone.
