About the author (2007)

Elaine Ryan is a professional interior designer and a leading expert on color in the interior environment. Her columns appear routinely in weekly newspapers. She is a cofounder of the International International Designers Association (IIDA) and the creator of the patented Elaine Ryan COLOR BARS. She lives in Connecticut.
