A friend used to borrow this book from the University Of Illinois Engineering Library but it has been absent for some years now, likely pulled due to age. It should really have been placed in the valuable book area, as no other book on the subject matter's contained in it exist!
For people that are interested in early color cinematography and especially in Dye Transfer Technicolor there is no better book on the subject. It contains drawings, chemical lists and formula for much of the I.B. dye transfer printing technique. The Technicolour Chapter alone is worth the used price of the book! Other more obscure type's of color cinematography systems are discussed and accompanied by many photo's drawing's and list's.
There are simply no other books that come close to the in depth technical descriptions contained in this book. Period!
