This is a delightful holiday romp through the familiar and the fanciful. The text is written in a fun-to-read doggerel verse revealing witty rhymes that will appeal to adults as well as to children. The light dramatic irony will introduce children (subliminally) to the concept. The strength of the writing keeps the book fresh through multiple readings, and you can expect that children will ask to hear it again regardless of the season.
