The book does read quickly. Gives a good understanding of the Brahman/Hindu view of self-realization, god-realization and what is believed about what the soul constitutes.
It is incorrectly described as 'scientific' as the book sometimes muddles religious and spiritual terminology. The Vedic texts so many thousands of years ago could also not have foreseen the population explosion of the last century and the real-world impact this would have on the transmigration principle.
Nevertheless this book is clear in its message; that a moral life (which keeps karma in check) is the best possible way to happiness in this life or the next or at last with the godhead.
