If you are involved in Social Care commissioning you must read this book. It places an emphasis on working in partnership with suppliers, recognising that both commissioners and providers have a 'win/win' interest in delivering quality services, where as the actual contract is in effect just a piece of paper (so don't expect the contract to do your job for you)
