About the author (2004)

Steinhofel is a diploma-trained sports teacher, who played tennis in the German Bundesliga for 11 years and as 3 times German champion. From 1986 to 1991 he was head coach and sports director for the RH Tennis Club Bayer Leverkusen. In addition, between 1985 and 1992 he had a teaching contract with the German Sports Academy College.
