Terrific book. However, Carslaw & Jaeger, Conduction of Heat in Solids, has very few illustrations of the configurations analyzed. The following compendium has extracted the information from Carslaw & Jaeger, as well as many other sources, and illustrates all of the configurations. Those illustrations, when used with Carslaw & Jaeger, make it much easier to use C&J.
