Absolutely vital in the study of the decline of Christian music and how secular forms, such as rock, blues and jazz contributed to the rise of both Southern Gospel Music and Christian Contemporary Music. This is the best treatment of the subject by one of the most knowledgeable men on the topic. Highly recommended. This book will be hated and attacked by defenders of modern Christian music forms, so consider the source of any such criticisms. Five stars.

A sound honest Biblical foundational and direct truthful Spirit led book. God has truly spoken through the author, who has not ignored Gods voice.
For all who are seeking Biblical truth, read
, absorb and thank God for His clear message within this book.
however there will no doubt be those who oppose the contents of this book, mainly because it touches the nerve of the deception Christians have for so long now adhered to and worshiped.
But there is hope for all, if we listen to Gods voice and not the worlds.
I can feel the anguish with which these word were originally penned. The earnest desire for the Truth that The Lord gave the author to convey to it's readers.
I thank God prayerfully that He has revealed/shown myself the truth and what I hear now is Gods voice clearly in ALL that I listen to and all I sing in my heart and with my voice is for Him and His glory, and is no longer mans self glorifying empty noise. Every time we sing, it should be for God always and not just on Sunday's. Praising my Saviour alway.
