About the author (1999)

Greer is a veteran journalist and author whose career spans more than 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys growing herbs, vegetables, cottage flowers, and native plants.

Barbara Pleasant has written five books for Storey, including the Garden Writer's Association 2003 Garden Globe Award of Achievement winner, "Garden Stone". She lives in Virginia.

Chaplin is an award-winning gardening writer and a former gardening editor for Southern Livng.
