This is an excellent booklet. It features especially older residential construction, but the principles and many of the examples apply to all types and ages of heated buildings. Following the advice in this booklet will provide much better payoff in $$ and comfort than adding to insulation, once about 6" - 8" of well-installed insulation is in place.
I ran a public energy information program in eastern Pennsylvania for many years, and did maybe 1,000 energy audits and many energy savings calculations (always cross-checked against actual bills).
