About the author (2011)

Tom Falconer bought his first C2 Corvette in 1971, and has owned and driven them for forty years. His first '66 was bought while studying architecture at Newcastle University, where he started Claremont Corvette in 1977, specializing in parts, servicing, sales and restoration. The company moved to Kent in 1986. Repairing, restoring, and road-testing Corvettes daily gives Tom a unique insight and experience as an author. He has written nine books on the Corvette, and is a columnist for magazines on both sides of the Atlantic. His current Corvette is a 1964 convertible, restored by Claremont in 2003.
