About the author (1988)

Michael Saia has had a teaching ministry with Youth With a Mission for the past sixteen years. He and his wife travel extensively, teaching in YWAM missionary training schools, churches, and seminars. Teaching a variety of subjects, his lectures are tempered by his pastoral concern and counseling experience. His experiences ministering in varied countries and cultural settings provide many illuminating illustrations.

About fifteen years ago, he began witnessing to homosexuals and counseling Christians coming from homosexual background. The book Counseling the Homosexual is a result of his research for this outreach. He and his wife live in Los Angeles, California.
