This is the architect whose work is the basis for the majority of "French Normandy, French Provincial, or Country French" inspired architecture in the United States by other architects in the United States after World War II, particularly in the 1980's and 1990's. This book of monographs is the iconographic work illustrating photos and floor plans of his work. The book is missing some of his best work done after 1931, including the Fairchild estate on Long Island and some estates in Greenwich, Connecticut.
