Sir,
After long years, we stenographers are still indebted to Sir Isaac Pitman who gave us this technique of shorthand which i am experiencing since last thirty years
. My lesson to the present modern scenario and the student is Sir Isaac Pitman has given us the basic foundation of English Language to be written in shorthand at its minimum signs which no doubt even today is our key to carry all the high administrative compliance within minimum time with an aim to generate greater output in our day to day working. We should primafacie thankful to our Sir.
However, the modern IT era with moderation in working is changing the entire scenario thereby this art and skill of shorthand is losing its importance day by day thereby tarnishing the ancient basic structure of English language in all fields may be said legal, administrative, technical etc. thereby losing the basic standards of language.
Hence, a revolution is must to regain the system of Sir Isaac Pitman at its perspective in the present scenario too which will pave a long way to make the future generation for a better tomorrow.
Hope people may please come forward in this field to re-gain the traditional systems.
With best regards - shekher iyer. Railways. jabalpur.
