About the author (2003)

Gill Dickinson has a degree in textiles from the Central School of Art and Design in London. After a career in teaching and designing textiles, Gill became head of wardrobe at London's Royal Ballet School. She now works as a writer and creative stylist and is author of several books and magazine articles.
