About the author (2001)

John Byrne is a multi-talented writer, cartoonist, TV script writer and stand-up comedian. He also teaches the art of cartoon drawing in workshops for children and adults. His adult cartoons can be seen in Private Eye, the Daily Express and numerousother publications, and he is the weekly cartoonist for The Bookseller. He has published over 20 joke books for children and become one of the most borrowed non-fiction authors in children's libraries. John lives in London.
