The Spectre, whose mission is to wreak heaven's vengeance upon criminals, is reborn in this eerie tale that links the events of Infinite Crisis to the present -- and the future! After losing his human host, The Spectre ran rampant across the DC Universe, destoroying all sources of magic. Now, the spirit of vengeance has been joined with a new host: the spirit of murdered Detective Crispus Allen from the Gotham City Policy Department. But Allen wants nothing to do with the Spectre or his holy mission -- even if it means jeopardizing his chance for redemption.
