Why doesn't anyone authenticate the 'reviews' on the back of this book? They are written by the author! Mr. Davis also asks friends to write reviews and they do because they feel sorry for him. Mr. Davis needs to take a creative writing class and then hire better ghost writers. Please don't read these books and encourage this so called author's sick ego.
I would recommend "Cruise Ship Crime: A Medical Murder Mystery" to anyone who loves to cruise and reads murder mysteries. Author - Paul Davis, MD, wrote about Dr. Alan Mayhew, a retired cruise ship doctor who's about to go on a cruise! When Paul Davis, MD was a guest on my on my internet radio program "Cruise with Bruce", he spoke about his real life experiences as a cruise line doctor. The mystery is based on an actual murder that took place on a cruise liner years ago. Many of the characters are a composite of the people that he met while working on various cruise lines for over ten years. Tune in to the archived recording to find out what the Doc says about his experiences and the murder. He also spoke about what you need to do if you are on a sick ship or forget your medication.
