About the author (2002)

Mercedes Franco has written award-winning children's books in Venezuela. She alternates between writing for various newspapers and producing the Cosas de Venezuela radio show. Elisa Riera has exhibited her art in London and Tokyo. Her illustrations have appeared in various European books, including Colour Me and Illusive.
