About the author (1999)

Steve Sleight is an author and independent consultant with a background in writing, broadcasting, and communications. He has advised several prominent international companies on communications strategies as well as the use of IT and digital, interactive media to enhance their projects. Most recently, he has been developing an e-business approach to information publishing, and he is now concentrating on producing digital multimedia content that can be presented and delivered in traditional or new media forms. He writes on business subjects as well as on his real, all-consuming passion sailing. He is the author of the Essential Managers: Information Technology as well as the DK Complete Sailing Manual.
