Daddy is like an island. And when you are a little boy on an island, you can be anything you want to be -- as tall as a tree, as angry as a storm, or as bright as a star. With text that rises and falls with the soft rhythm of a song, Philip Wells celebrates father and son in enchanting verses that will delight and lull the most wild of wild things as they prepare for bed. Niki Daly's magical artwork evokes a calm, dreamlike mood as it radiates the love between parent and child.
