About the author (2010)

Carolyn Marie, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, is a multi-faceted artist of many sorts. Though, she consumes her life with singing and visual art, she discovered that writing was a true passion. She grew up as the youngest of four and, the moment she discovered her lifelong troubles were linked to Bipolar Disorder, she decided to release herself in poetry as a way relieve stress. While she has learned to help others overcome by her own experiences, she also believes in entertaining with fiction novels centered around Black experiences and a Friends-with-Benefits column for Examiner.com, giving relationship advice.
