Dark Secrets of the Real Miss Candy Lee

Front Cover
Xlibris Corporation, Feb 18, 2011 - Biography & Autobiography - 187 pages
In the beginning, I started off writing my diary, which leads me into writing poetry, then lyrics. My older brother believed in me and also influenced my talent back in 1985. He later died, but left a large impact, when it came to me. Throughout my younger life, I had to decide between love or family, which I explain in this book. In chapter three, I describe in graphic detail, of how I was abused throughout my relationships. The next chapter, I go into one of the worse times of a writers life, when trusting the wrong person with your work..., then basically watching someone soliciting your artist name, and then profit off of it. When this happened to me, it threw me into a 5 year depress-ion. Then because my sister became my true fan, I found enough hope inside, to fight back on-line and not give up.

This is Mary E. Black. There will be another book coming soon.
It's a crime novel. Right now I'm currently attending college, studying Criminal Justice. I want to become a lawyer.
Anyway, the book's called Deprivity. Look for it soon. I think you will like it. It's juicy, like me.

About the author (2011)

I was born a twin, on August 11, 1970. I was raised in Hartford, Ct. I came from a middle class family of 8, and both of my parents are deceased. I am both a rapper and poet. In 84, I started writing. In 1985, my older brother had a strong influence and belief in my talent. When I turned 18 years old, he sadly died, and I turned to a man who my family didn't approve of. Years went by, and I tracked down the man I loved for years, mailed him a copy of my demo, and in a short time, there were hundreds of girls on-line, calling themselves my rap name, and profiting off of it in a big way. After reading my life story, along with poems and my many lyrics Ive written throughout the years, you'll realize I am "The Real Miss Candy Lee."
