About the author (1990)

Edith Lank has held a broker's license and taught real estate on the college level. Her award-winning column on real estate, distributed by Creators Syndicate (Los Angeles Times Syndicate and Tribune Media Services) appears in more than 100 newspapers and Web sites. It can be found at www.creators.com. Lank also has hosted her own television and radio shows and is a frequent speaker at REALTOR(R) functions. Edith has published eight books on real estate, including "Modern Real Estate Practice in New York, Essentials of New Jersey Real Estate, The Homebuyers Kit", and "The Homeseller's Kit", all available from Dearborn Financial Publishing, Inc. Her work has been honored with awards from Bar Associations, Women in Communications, Inc., local and national associations of real estate professionals, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the National Association of Real Estate Editors, and the Real Estate Educators Association. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is listed in "Who's Who in America".
