I have just read on this page that the Foxglove is found all over England and Scotland excepting the extreme North. I have lived on the Island of Yell in the Shetland group for 70+ years; you cannot get much farther North than that. I can assure you that Foxgloves have grown here all my life. This throws open the question are they really absent from the Eastern Counties like (Cambridgeshire) or have they been overlooked; difficult to overlook a spike about 6ft tall, they certainly don't hide in the grass.
