About the author (2005)

Charlene K. Bolstadis a registered nurse of 25 years with 13 years of specialization in cardiac rehabilitation and patient education. She has authored literature relating to coronary artery disease, post-operative activity, congestive heart failure and arrythmias. Charlene constructs heart-healthy diets and offers practical advice for heart patients on a regular basis. Charlene has two children, presently in college, and lives with her husband in northern California.
