Demotic Papyri and Ostraca from Qasr Ibrim
This compact volume presents the translations of demotic texts foudn during the Egypt Exploration Society's excavations in Qasr Ibrim from 1978-80. A great many of the texts are fragmentary, but two intact letters - a series of requests made to an oracle - are of considerable importance to our understanding of this ancient society.
