About the author (1985)

Denny McKeown has been in the nursery business for 38 years. He is the recipient of such prestigious awards as the American Nursery and Landscape Association's Jack Schneider Award and Garden Communicators Award. The owner of a retail garden sales business, he also hosts a syndicated gardening radio show on WGRR-FM in Cincinnati. He has created a series of seasonal gardening videos covering spring, summer, and fall. McKeown has authored several gardening books, including The Gardening Book for Ohio: Revised Edition and Kentucky Gardener's Guide.
