There are also stimulating essays by notable design critics, artists, landscape architects, and architects, stemming from a forum held in San Francisco where this work was exhibited.The participants include John Beardsley, an art critic and author who resides in Washington, D.C.; Elizabeth Meyer of Charlottesville, chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Virginia; and James Corner of Philadelphia, associate professor of landscape architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.
