About the author (1999)

Richard Major was a Rhodes Scholar to Oxford in the 1980S An Anglican priest, he has served in Cornwall, London, Florence, Siena Washington and New York. He is Chaplain of the English Church in Ljubljana, where his wife is a political officer in the US Embassy. He was a correspondent for The Tablet for several years.

Lise Caldwell is a mon, a college instructor and a former editor for Standard Publishing City: Cincinnati, Ohio.
