About the author (2007)

Lila Guzman is the author of Lorenzo's Secret Mission (pinata Books, 2001), Lorenzo's Revolutionary Quest (pinata Books, 2003), and Kichi in Jungle Jeopardy (Blooming Tree Press, 2006), a middle-grade fantasy novel. She is the recipient of several awards for her writing, including Honorable Mention in Fiction, the Dorothy Daniels Honorary Writing Award from the National League of American Pen Women.
