About the author (2010)

She was born June 5, 1973 in Detroit, MI where she still resides. She has been a singer, songwriter and poet since she was a young girl. Growing up she was deeply inspired by Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes. She knew one day she would be able to share her life's experiences with the world. Her poetry reflects the different things she's encountered throughout her life and the way God helped her to endure her storms. Despite obstacles that one may face she hopes this book will inspire someone to love, hope and have faith in God.
