About the author (2003)

Ed Matunas has been involved with guns and hunting since boyhood. A practicing gunsmith for twelve years, he was also the director of a ballistics laboratory, a designer of reloading tools, and national sales manager for Winchester-Warren. He is now a freelance writer with hundreds of articles to his credit as well as four books.
