About the author (2008)

Martin Myers, M.D. and Diego Pineda, M.S. are, respectively, the editor and the science writer for the National Network for Immunization Information (NNii), immunizationinfo.org. They have co-authored more than 80 peer-reviewed articles on immunization issues. Dr. Myers is an internationally recognized vaccine expert and former director of the National Vaccine Program Office.
