About the author (2010)

George Jack is an author and poet who enjoys performing poetry for, and teaching it to, children in New Hampshire schools. He is a New Hampshire Justice of the Peace and holds a brown belt in karate. Along with being excited about Don't Play Catch With Jelly, he is looking forward to breaking the birthday-cake-eating record sometime this year. Co-Author Jennifer Rackley (Jen) holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in teaching from the University of New Hampshire, as well as a law degree from Suffolk University. She began her career as a high school English teacher but left teaching to go to law school. Now she is an attorney in solo practice on the NH seacoast, specializing in child law and family law. She's been working with children and families for 23 years now and loves her job. "She is excited about sharing Don't Play Catch With Jelly and looks forward to writing more children's books.
