This book provides a comprehensive overview to the history and attempts of regionalism in East Asia. Dent mixes his focus between both Northeast and Southeast Asia and also examines their interactions. At the end of each chapter Dent also analyzes each subject through various IR theories, extrapolating the different ways each subject can be interpreted.
