About the author (2005)

Mark Thurston, Ph.D. is an educator, psychologist, and author of nineteen other books about practical spirituality. His previous publications include Discovering Your Souls Purpose, Spirituality for Busy People, How to Interpret Your Dreams, and Edgar Cayces Predictions for the 21st Century. In addition to teaching transpersonal psychology for Atlantic University in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Dr. Thurston is a co-founder and course leader of the Personal Transformation and Courage Institute, a non-profit educational organization conducting small-group intensive courses for people in life transition. The principles in this book are taken from those courses about transformative change, courage, meditation, and reclaiming ones energy and power.
