About the author (1997)

Ed Mayhew is the author of Educating Your Star Child and Fitter After 50: Forever Changing Our Beliefs About Aging. A professional educator for 38 years, he has specialized in physical fitness for children. As he crossed the half-century mark, he turned his attention to adult fitness issues. Ed is an avid runner, sports enthusiast, Certified Fitness Trainer, speaker, free-lance writer and is definitely fitter for life. He is the father of two grown daughters and lives with his wife, Mary, in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.
